From Facebook contests to ad campaigns, Victoria shoppers get engaged

Nola Dunn, our client from Woodgrove Centre referred us to Julie McCracken, the Marketing Director at Mayfair Centre.

They need to effectively engage shoppers through exciting social promotions and contests. Mayfair Shopping Centre is Victoria’s largest shopping mall and they needed to engage their shoppers using the latest social media promotional strategies. Their previous campaigns were no longer effective as their demographic shifted to a much more social shopping experience. Mayfair needed to be where their shoppers were, and their social media presence needed to be strengthened.

We produced a digital strategy including social media promotions, contests, and advertising campaigns. We knew Mayfair’s market based on existing clients in the industry therefore we were able to get right to work as we began the first social campaign. Over the past few years, we’ve launched many different promotions including successful Facebook contests, generating thousands of new social fans and followers.

We doubled their social media fan base, boosted customer loyalty, and increased foot traffic. Since implementing aggressive multi-channel social media campaigns including Facebook contests, we’ve been able to elevate their social presence to the next level. Since partnering with Mayfair, we’ve continued to provide our consultative ideas as new campaigns are launched each year from promoting store openings to celebrating their 50th anniversary.

Facebook fans have increased by over 100% and continue to climb. From their Facebook page through to all their social media channels, Mayfair now has a new digital marketing strategy that aligns with their modern brand.
